This probe connects to the Wireless pH Sensor and measures the potential of a solution to be oxidized or reduced in comparison to a silver/ silver chloride reference cell. This allows students to determine the ability of a species in a solution to act as an oxidizing agent or reducing agent during redox reactions.

Use this probe to monitor solutions during oxidation-reduction titrations, perform water quality studies, and study the effects of water chlorination. This probe is not a standalone sensor. It connects to and requires the amplifier provided with the pH sensor ps-3204.  Short term storage is acceptable in the soaker bottle with 4M KCl solution (30.2g / 100ml water). If storing the sensor for several months you may store it dry in the same storage bottle emptied.
