This standard rheostat is ideal for regulating resistance in school circuit experiments, supporting core physics topics such as Ohm’s Law and current control. It’s suitable for GCSE and A-Level practical work.

Wound with oxidised constantan (copper-nickel alloy) on a vitreous enamelled steel tube, it offers excellent heat resistance. A heavy-duty phosphor bronze sliding contact, nickel-plated for corrosion resistance, allows smooth adjustment. Two 4mm terminal posts ensure easy connection with standard lab leads.
